Section 1: Project Rationale (approx. 100 words)
Since starting the course in September, What do you know now, and what does it mean to you, (compared with what you knew and could do before you started the course). How does what you know now influence your choice of pathway and your project proposal.
Since I started this course in September I now know so much and I’ve learned a lot because when I first entered this course I came in with little knowledge about TV and film but knew more about graphic design as I’ve done photography in my past life. I’ve learned how to use a filming camera and learnt to use it on the tripod. I learned that when it comes to shooting a film you have to pick the right location so for our horror film we filmed it in one of my group members house. We learned how to set up everything by the technicians and we just started filming straight away.I never ever wrote a script, this was the first time and we used a website called ‘celtx’. I remember when David read my script he thought it was good and that i had a good idea, and i never thought it would be that good since it was my first time writing one. We then just had the game shows and i feel that it was more harder than the horror one since you have more people in the group and there's a lot more to do. We all had different job roles to do even though we did help each other, we still had our own responsibility such as me, i was making the set design along with Lisa. I also was the vision mixer and i never knew what that was before and it sounded hard but it's really simple. Before I started this course the only thing I knew was how to edit pictures as I’ve been doing photography for a year in my old sixth form and I used my editing skills on editing our films. When I edited the films I felt like I had way more knowledge at editing then before, so it made me learn more. I really enjoy editing as editing makes up most of the films out there.

I have decided to make a leaflet, poster, and website. Making a leaflet involves indesign, photoshop, and photography. Making a poster also involves photoshop and photography and making a website involves muse which is something i rarely used and so i will learn more about it overtime when i use it.










Section 2 Project Concept: (approx. 200 words)
Clearly explain the concept and aims of your project and the context, research and ideas that will support its development. What are the historical, economic, social, mass media, cultural, political influences?  What is it you want to communicate and who is your audience? What access will you need to workshops, how will you use independent study?
The concept and aim of my project is to raise awareness of this issue i would like to do a campaign on deforestation i would like to show people how important trees are and that we need them and that we need a campaign to put a stop to it. I would like to speak about world peace specifically environmental problems that our world is facing today, major things like Deforestation, Species extinction Soil degradation, Overpopulation. I would like to answer these questions for people, How is it affecting the world the environment, How is it affecting human beings, What is the cause of deforestation, Where does deforestation happen the most, How can we solve deforestation,What is being done to stop Deforestation.

The audience is anyone but mostly people over 12 years old because this is a campaign for everyone as we all live on this planet so it targets everyone.











Section 3 Evaluation and Reflection: (Approx 50 words)
Explain how you will reflect on, and evaluate your work, as both an on-going activity and at the conclusion of the project. You should describe how you intend to record your decision making and how you will document changes to your ideas as work progresses.  The evaluation should be referred back to your aims. It must be reflective (‘why? Because?’) and analytical rather than a description of actions completed.
How I will reflect and evaluate my work is by using blogger. This is what I've been using since last year in September to talk about my work or what I've done in class. I'm going to be talking about all the software's I've used and saying how my final project turned out, also saying what people thought about my project like getting feedback. I'm going to talk about all the ups and downs that i might go through when creating this because i could come across a problem such as the layout might not be correct so i can say, what solution i came up with. I will document all the changes and drafts on the blog under Pre-production and planning which is where all my planning work will be.





Section 4: Research Sources and Bibliography
Record the initial research sources, both primary and secondary, that you intend to use.  Your sources of research should be as wide as possible, including libraries, museums, galleries, journalism, articles, media, galleries, books, film/video, magazines, TV/radio programmes, web sites etc.
For primary research I will be researching other campaigns like greenpeace as they also talk about deforestation and i will be researching a campaign called global witness and i'll also watch videos like documentaries on deforestation. i will use the library also as they have a lot of books on nature and they do have books on deforestation.

For secondary research i will ask people on what they think about deforestation because i would like to get other people's opinions and i could properly use it for my magazine.
